The Sunday of 17th September 2017 was a day of conclusions and goodbyes. The Veritatis Splendor Charity Fair is not only about the stands, but it is also a perfect opportunity to hold talks and exchange experiences. Members of the organisations, volunteers and all participants in the Fair became very accustomed to each other during those three days they spent together.
The closing day of the Charity Fair started with a solemn Mass Service presided by Fr. Stanisław Cardinal Dziwisz, which was held in the Sr. John Paul II Sanctuary. One must be God’s man on earth. What does that mean? It means fulfilling His will, or being open to the neighbour’s poverty, said Fr. Ireneusz Okarmus in his sermon. After the Mass, a meeting of the members of the organisations participating in the Fair was held that was attended by Dagoberto Hernandez Valdes, a Catholic activist from Cuba.
